Stephen Ambrose called them "Citizen Soldiers". They were young men in their late teens and early twenties, in the prime of their lives. They volunteered to defend Democracy and fight Tyranny. They fought, suffered, died and finally won one of the greatest conflicts man has seen or may ever see again. We who follow them should never forget those who gave so much and those who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure the freedoms we so often take for granted today. This site is dedicated to the memory of my father Cpl. Edward F. Capodarco and all of the men who served with the 107th during WW II.

I would like to recognize six veterans of the 107th. Without their help I would not have been able to put this tribute together. Robert Augustin and Mac Ferren, Troop C. Ulice (Bill) Poupard and David Brower, Troop F. Norman Malone, HQ and Edmond Boehlke, Troop A. Within the following pages you will find many contributions from other 107th veterans. These are their memories, their lives and sacrifices. We should never forget what they did for all of us. When you see a veteran, thank them...NEVER FORGET, NEVER.
